This year is different. Maybe it's because I'll be 16. Maybe it's because I'll be driving, or maybe it's because something great is going to happen. I just feel like it will be different, like maybe I'll actually get things done, and maybe I'll be less stressed. Maybe I'll find enormous amounts of inspiration and read one hundred books and take a million pictures that capture every moment. The thing is, I know that I can do all of these things; I just need to get my priorities straight.
- make time to read
- stress less about schoolwork
- take more walks / go outside more
- blog more often
- enjoy more
- spend more time with friends
- take pictures. always bring your camera.
- get things done.
So many things have happened to me in the past year.
I began officially blogging again. I turned fifteen. I started getting into photography and met jocee, whom I plan on meeting face to face at some point in the near future. I redesigned my blog multiple times, having trouble with a new design. I joined drill team. My ninth grade year of highschool ended and summer began. We got molly. I visited my best friend in houston. Redesigned my blog a couple more times. Summer fell away and the stress of school returned. Powernotes, powernotes, powernotes, and then thanksgiving break. Christmas break, and I got my dslr (planning on having an official post soon). And here I am.
Now is the time to simplify, and encompass the things that really matter. As of now, I've made the desicion to only take one AP class next school year and focus more on photography, blogging, lowering my stress level and enjoying things more. This was a bit of a hard desicion because me being me, I've always taken every college/highschool class available. But it's a new year, so new things come with it.
To be honest, I'm really excited about everything. I'm also planning on having a giveaway very soon, but more on that later. I'm thinking about starting a blog series and having more vlogs, also.
So here's to the new. Happy 2013!
