This morning, I woke up to the sun, and then I decided to crochet a headband (the one shown above). My best friend, Maggie, texted me and told me she was in Dallas for a volleyball tournament, and that she had a couple of hours of free time. It was a nice reunification (I'm feeling like that word doesn't properly describe it; it was more like a brief hug fest when she walked in the door). I showed her the vehicle (aka, my car, which I still have to name), and we squaeled and discussed summer plans. We went to the mall and to our favorite store, earthbound (aka, the most hipster store ever with cool things from different countries that have really good prices) and hopped around like small children while wearing masks. Oh, and we bought really cool beaded friendship bracelets and some other stuff.
It felt good to be together, and it was a pretty good surprise.
