I drove 30 miles to see my best friend last week, and we had fun. Maggie's grandparent's lakehouse was beautiful, and I would go back a million times more. One morning, we woke up at 7am and watched the sunrise, and then went off for an all day photoshoot. In the late afternoon, more than ten deer at a time would come to the feeder outside of our bedroom window, and I ate chicken and dumplings two nights in a row because her memaw's cooking was so good. We took Maggie's memaw's old Lincoln downtown and went to the small gift shops and little grocery store to buy ice-cream, and it rained for two days straight so we sat in bed and watched our favorite Harry Potter movies. We had an interesting adventure trying to find our way back after driving the golfcart down every dirt trail, and we found a giant field that we climbed under a barbed-wire fence to get to. It was a great time spent with my best friend, and I would go back any day.
