Summer's been real. It's been nice, it's been great, and it's been pretty short. I'm at that point where that stressful yet excited feeling starts to kick in, knowing that school is just around the corner. Maybe I'm ready, but then again, I have to be. That's the difference between home-school and public school; you actually have to interact with people on a daily basis, new people, in my case. Sitting in a classroom full of new people tends to have a lot of great potential, if you have the nerve to talk to them. Uh. Too bad I'm not the top socialite. Also, I was in the car today, and I received a call from the nearest grocery store's coffee shop concerning that I applied for yesterday. So, I have an interview scheduled for Monday, and I'm pretty darn excited. I really-really hope I get the job. And coffee shops are cool, so that's a plus.

Something else that has been on mind, is thanking God for what I have, and being more appreciative of the life that I have been given. I went to east texas last week to visit my grandmother (more on that to come), and I've come to realize that I really respect her for being as God-ly as she is. Honestly, I haven't been to church in a long time. I think that it would benefit me to go. I have my doubts about how God is working in my life, and in understanding His plan for me. I pray every day, and I hope that I can continue to find ways to thank him for what he has done for me, and let my faith guide me.

On a lighter note, I've been playing the piano a lot lately. I've been learning Nuvole Bianche straight from a youtube video. A few weeks ago, I thought that it was something that I could never learn to play, but here I am. P.S. I bought a pair of shorts with whales on them, and today I found some pants with sparrows. I've been on a roll with animals on pants, I guess.
