spring life.

Today was the day when I switched from the hot water knob on the left to the cold one on the right, and also a windy day, so the sprinklers carried mist around like a misty storm, and you could almost feel the water droplets. I have to say that I fall in love with every season, and right now I'm falling in love with spring. The grass is finally beginning to turn green, and we leave the back door open to let in the fresh air and hear the birds chirp. I like sit in my room alone on weekend mornings so I can open the blinds and feel the sunlight shining on me, and now that we have a patio table, we can eat outside right before the sun sets. Life has been transitioning lately, and it seems that this is just the right time. My favorite part, as of late, has been driving places (although it is quite stressful, I'm getting better every day) and playing my favorite new songs with the sun-roof up and the windows rolled down. They were right (whoever "they" are) when they said that driving gives you a kind of freedom. I have also realized that I love my small group of friends, and although it is few, they are good friends who really understand me. I'm planning camping trips in my mind and thinking about that foreign idea of submerging myself underwater once again, all while procrastinating on homework, because sometimes I believe that these things are more important. Spring is being good to me.

love, ryan
