Tomorrow I will be seventeen. There has been so much craziness and stress lately that I hardly even noticed. Everything has been passing by so quickly. This morning I woke up at 5:45 and took my best friend to the airport for her flight home. Yesterday we watched Frozen, which I absolutely loved, and we ate buttered popcorn. On the way to the movie we played the guess-that-song-artist game in the car, which I am actually quite good at.

I don't know if seventeen makes things different; I sure don't feel any different, except for the fact that maybe the twenty-something year olds that I work with will start taking me seriously, and now I can see R-rated movies without getting carded- that's a plus. Last weekend I went to the symphony and it was awesomely amazing; I'll never forget it. I'll also never forget my clumsy self tripping multiple times over four-inch heels which I totally regret wearing, but I needed the experience.

Currently:
listening- to John Mayer, obsessively.
reading- The Devil in the White City, for school.
doing- mountains of homework, making up tests that I shouldn't have failed, or spontaneously eating out and thrifting with friends. Oh, and working, always.
watching- New Girl, occasionally.

Here's to seventeen. Maybe some things will change.
